I created Thirsty Mama during one of the most dehydrating seasons of my life — pregnancy, breastfeeding, sleepless nights, and learning how to care for someone else while slowly forgetting myself.

I spent more time than I’d like to admit in and out of doctors’ offices and hospitals, struggling with nausea and dehydration. Plain water made me sick, and every electrolyte I tried was either made for athletes, filled with ingredients I didn’t feel comfortable taking, or tasted so awful I couldn’t keep it down.

My body needed more than just water. It needed gentle, effective hydration I could actually trust.
